Community meeting for the Local Hazard Mitigation Plan

Timber Cove Water District invites community members to participate in an upcoming public meeting as part of the development of the District’s Local Hazard Mitigation Plan (LHMP).

The LHMP identifies natural hazards that could affect the community—such as wildfire, severe weather, earthquakes, and other potential risks—and outlines strategies to reduce impacts to residents, infrastructure, and essential services.

During this meeting, the District and MNS Engineers will present information from the draft Hazard Mitigation Plan, including local hazards, community vulnerabilities, and potential mitigation strategies. Community members will have the opportunity to learn more about the risks facing the area and provide feedback to help guide the final plan.

Public participation is an important part of the planning process, and residents are encouraged to attend and share their input.  Please join us, link below.
